dated September 14, 1944.
There's a hole on the last line. The last sentence is "...se terminer à 14 heures 45."
I have only the copy of the front page of this document. Another document,"Ballancourt History of the war"
resumes the totality of information contained in this letter of Ballancourt's Mayor and goes a little farther
in the description of the events of August 1944. It is also probably incomplete.
