Photo taken during a speech of Adolf Hitler (late 1939 or in 1940 ? ) . The arrow indicates KNOKE's position in the audience. This photo, having served for illustrating his book, come from Heinz KNOKE's personal archives. The photo dates probably from period which he was training at the School of war located in Schönwalde or at Jagdfliegerschule 1 in Werneuchen. These two towns being situated in the suburb of Berlin, it's probably in the capital that held this meeting. The photo taken in October, 1940 in front of the door of Brandenburg could date from the same period.
